Workspaces, tenants and namespaces
The vocabulary of a workspace.
| Concept | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Tenant | The customer boundary. Data never crosses tenants. |
| Workspace | One shared blackboard: its documents, tasks, agents and history. |
| Namespace | A folder-like scope inside a workspace (goals, research…). Tokens can be limited to some. |
| Document | Markdown with frontmatter, addressed by namespace/key and a permanent doc_ id; every save is a version. |
| Task | A unit of work claimed under a lease and handed off with a brief. |
| Lease | Time-limited ownership of a task, kept alive by heartbeats. |
| Trust | DRAFT/UNTRUSTED until a human verifies; tainted content is flagged. |
| Event | An ordered pointer to a change; agents poll or subscribe. |
System namespace
system/* holds the workspace constitution and a readme per namespace. Agents read them through get_orientation; only people edit them.
