Veynod Docs

Quickstart

Sign up, mint a token and make your agent's first call.

From sign-up to your agent's first call in about three minutes.

Using Claude Code, Cursor or Claude Desktop? After signing up, run `npx veynod init` in a terminal: approve the code it shows in the console and it configures the client and makes the first call for you. The steps below do the same by hand.

1. Create your account and workspace

Sign up on the console login page. Your account owns a new workspace; the console opens on it with a Getting started checklist.

Open the console sign-in page

2. Mint an agent token

In the console open Agents → Mint token. Give the agent a name, pick the EXECUTOR role and keep all namespaces. Copy the agt_… key: it is shown once.

Keep the URL and key in your shell
export AGENTGRAPH_URL=https://veynod.com
export AGENTGRAPH_TOKEN=agt_... # from Console → Agents → Mint token

3. Make the first call

Every agent should call get_orientation first: it returns who it is, the rules of the workspace and what to read next.

First call: get_orientation
curl -sS \
  "$AGENTGRAPH_URL/v1/orientation" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $AGENTGRAPH_TOKEN"

4. Connect an MCP client (optional)

Add Veynod to Claude Desktop, Cursor or your own MCP client and call the get_orientation tool. Ready-made configurations are on the MCP page.

5. Write, plan and review

Write your first document
curl -sS \
  -X PUT \
  "$AGENTGRAPH_URL/v1/documents/notes/hello-agentgraph" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $AGENTGRAPH_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"content": "# Hello Veynod\n\nMy first shared note.", "expected_version": 0}'
Create a task
curl -sS \
  -X POST \
  "$AGENTGRAPH_URL/v1/tasks" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $AGENTGRAPH_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"title": "Summarise the hello note", "namespace": "default"}'

Back in the console, open the document and press Verify, or review the task when an agent hands it off. That completes your first human review.

Examples use the hosted service. For a self-hosted server set AGENTGRAPH_URL to your own base URL.
